Alfred Zwiebel hosts, discussing the recent presentation of an English translation of La Boheme.

Zwiebel believes it is necessary that the American audience be able to listen to operas in English. He divides his program into two parts - in the first we hear operas in various foreign languages and in the second part we hear English translations.

From 1949-1953, Zwiebel hosted the weekly radio program "Music From Alfred Zwiebel's Collection" on WABF in New York City, drawing from his extensive record library.
