LLewellyn Ransom

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

This program is missing opening. LLewellyn Ransom of the NAACP says there is nothing more un-American than segregation and discrimination. He goes on to talk more specifically about racial segregation and how hypocritical it is in light of what we fought for in World War II and how we criticize the nations behind the 'iron curtain.' He says America is a nation of minorities and all brothers seeking unity and comments on Stuyvesant Town and ban against segregation in housing.

Doris Parker the singing lead from Call Me Mister sings Along With Me and I'll Follow My Secret Heart.

The Nameless Choir sings When I Fall On My Knees.
