Museum of Contemporary Crafts

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

Marty Wayne interviews Paul Smith, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Crafts (now known as the Museum of Arts and Design). They discuss the museum's relationship to the American Craftsman Council and the collecting and exhibition activities of both organizations. Wayne asks about the difficulties in displaying their current exhibition on bread and cakes, which transitions into a broader discussion on upcoming shows, for example, an exhibition on the door.
