What a New State Constitution May Mean to You

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

Ted O. Thackrey is the moderator. His guests are Mrs. Jeremiah C. Ingersoll (Minneola P. Ingersoll), President of the Women's City Club of New York and Mrs. Edward First (Edythe W. First) of the WCC. Ingersoll speaks about the the WCC and its long interest in the state constitution, since 1957, when the first proposal for a change was made. She says the state constitution of 1894 has been amended too often, and is patched, not revised.
