Spring 2026 Oh Mary! Giveaway Rules
OFFICIAL RULES
New York Public Radio (“NYPR”) is the sponsor of this Giveaway.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older and in the United States can enter the Giveaway except employees of NYPR and its related organizations, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or pledge necessary. WNYC and WQXR Monthly Sustainers are automatically entered. Entries to the Giveaway may also be made by responding to pledge drive email solicitations, calling the WNYC pledge line at 888-376-9692 or through the pledge form at WNYC.org during the following entry period:
- Between noon on Monday, May 18th, 2026 through Monday May18th, 2026 8pm.
PRIZE DRAWING AND PRIZING: Following the close of the entry period, 1 winner will be chosen. The winner will receive the following:

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: One winning name and 2 back up names for will be selected by random drawing no later than 5/30/2026. Winner will be sent notification via telephone or email no later than 6/10/2026. If the winner is unable to collect their prize or does not respond to the notification within 30 days the unawarded prize may, at NYPR’s discretion, go to the back-up (subject to the same 30-day response time requirement). The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entrants. The winners’ names will be kept on file at New York Public Radio and will be available by writing to WNYC Listener Services, 160 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013.
GENERAL: Limit one (1) entry per person; duplicate or incomplete entries and entries that do not comply with these Official Rules will be will be disqualified. No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. NYPR is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or invalid entries, or for technical or administrative issues. An entry is deemed “received” when, as applicable, it is recorded by NYPR’s servers or at the end time of an eligible call to the WNYC pledge line. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by NYPR.
By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules, and that New York Public Radio, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. NYPR may use winners’ names for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winners. Winners may receive a 1099 with the above stated value in accordance with applicable law.
RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. Each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of NYPR with respect to the administration of the giveaway and the choice of winners. One entry per person. Multiple entries and not allowed and will not increase the chances of winning.
